Get therapy from the Daluo Mountain
The
best therapy doesn't come from an office, it might come from nature. That's
what I discovered when I fled the hustle and bustle of city life and sought therapy from the Daluo
mountain.
Forest therapy has been backed
up by research that it has benefits. Research
shows that spending a mere 120 minutes among trees can boost health and
well-being. Harvard Health Organization also claimed that forest therapy is good
for physical and mental health.
Daluo Mountain is in Chashan
Town, south of Wenzhou. As an outdoor hiking route favored by locals, it
has seven
major spots with high playability.
Daluo Mountain combines forests, natural stones, lakes, and temples, enabling
patients to receive an unidentical experience.
My
favorite “therapist” is Tianhe Reservoir Scenic Spot. With changes in seasons,
it will provide prescriptions accordingly. This winter, the remedy I received
from her is being present, which means not panicking about the future and
focusing on the moment.
Stepping into the Reservoir has the magic to mob away your tiredness and refresh you thoroughly with fresh air
and a gentle breeze. In Reservoir, you are able to use your ears to listen to the
water sounds, your hand to touch trees, and your nose to smell the grass. Most
importantly, let yourself sink in. Close your eyes and just be in the moment,
relaxed from the unfinished assignments and annoying deadlines.
Human beings are obsessed with the future.
The book “Brief
History of humankind” also mentions that as early as the agricultural age,
the "future" has played the main role of the small theater in the
human mind.
Here’s my favorite quote, “People on the mountain don't even bother to think about what's down there.” Indeed, when you immerse yourself in the cradle of mountains, the past and future fade away, leaving only the here and now.
Whenever you have some confusion or
depression, try to receive therapy from the mountains. It will recover you with
gentle love, allow you to listen to your inner mind, and ensure you get
back to the right mindset.
Have you ever thought that climbing
mountains can be equivalent to therapy? Next time, if you want to seek prescriptions

“doctors.”
